I am located in Saint Paul, Minnesota and I run Memory Me Studio and create family portraits year round. I have a studio space in Saint Paul and am able to book both retail portrait clients as well as commercial clients in my space.
As an artist, I approach each photograph as if it has it’s own story to tell. I personify the moments that I capture. This applies to everything I photograph from how parents interact with children during a portrait session, to how food interacts with the plate it is placed upon. Each photograph I create has a soul. In my landscapes, I see each as it’s own world. I like looking between the busyness of every day life and capturing the quite moments, as if there was this slight pause in the world when nothing else was happening. I also style shoots in order to create characters that exist nowhere other than my photographs. No matter the subject, I love the art of creating and capturing photographs.
I am mother to two wonderful humans. They are 6 months and 3 years old and bring me joy every day and you will probably see them featured in some personal project photography posts at some point! In addition to being a parent, I love traveling and spending time going on full day dates with my partner. He and I are both photographers and always love challenging each other with what we capture.
